At Ostex Eats, we facilitate the connection between hungry customers and local kitchens. Because our partners use the Self-Delivery model, the following terms apply to all orders:
Responsibility: The Restaurant is solely responsible for the preparation, packaging, and physical delivery of your order. Ostex Eats provide the technology to track and manage this process but does not employ the delivery personnel.
Delivery Estimates: All delivery times shown at checkout are estimates provided by the Restaurant based on distance, traffic, and kitchen volume.
Delivery Fees: Shipping costs are set by the individual Restaurant and may vary by location. These fees are clearly displayed before you finalize your payment.
Address Accuracy: Customers must provide precise locations or landmarks. If a delivery fails because the customer is unreachable or provided an incorrect address, the order remains non-refundable.
Risk of Loss: Once the Restaurant marks an order as "Dispatched," they assume liability for the transit. Ostex Eats will not be held accountable for delays, spills, or temperature changes during delivery.
